December 01, 2014
Its Merry Christmas time again – can’t believe I am saying that! By the time of the December meeting we will be recovering from the Christmas Party – Rock’n Roll’n the night away and no doubt lots of photos will have appeared on the Face Book page.
It has certainly been a busy year both personally and in the Branch with all the rides and social activities.
We had a lot of fun at the Beardies Festival in Glen Innes. Next year is their 10th Anniversary so it might be a good one to put in the calendar again.
During the year many of our members have been ill, undergone surgery, are suffering long term sickness or suffered incidents that are life changing. It’s a good time to reflect on what being a member of the Ulysses Club is all about – socialising, friendship and support. Let’s be mindful of our mates and supportive in their times of need. If you haven’t seen someone around for a while, make a polite enquiry to see if they are OK or mention it to our Welfare Officer to follow up.
The New Year fun will kick off with the traditional breakfast at Richard and Lynn’s on Saturday 3 January – see you there.
I wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS
and HAPPY NEW YEAR
